How does Plug and Play work?

Plug and Play screens are a simple and low cost option. Each screen comes with a built in HD media player.

Updating a screen is as simple as setting up your images or videos on a USB stick and plugging it into your screen. The images and videos are copied to the internal flash memory on the screen. When you remove the USB stick the screen will start playing the pictures and videos in a loop. For more advance use we can supply free Scheduling Software for displaying different content at different times of the day as well as setting image display durations and transition effects.

Plug and Play usage does not need any network hardware and you do not need an internet connection or CMS subscription. 

What are Network Upgrades and Content Management Systems?

You can order a network upgrade for all our Plug and Play screens. It will enable you to remotely update your screen via LAN, WiFi or 4G. Remotely updating a screen is extremely simple. We will setup an account for you on the secure Content Management System (CMS) to upload media, manage playlists, create your own templates and schedule content for whenever you want; giving you complete control over your network. No special software installation or dedicated PC is required, you can update your screens from anywhere in the world with an internet connection. Our team are on hand to help you design, implement and manage your screens.

Schedule Playlists

You can determine exactly what content is displayed and when. Create playlists that will automatically display your desired content at pre-determined times and dates. Whatever your scheduling requirements, our system can support them.

Android Media Player

The integrated Android network media player provides a super fast possessing speed allowing for improved communication with the CMS. This means that you can update your screens quicker than ever before. It also allows you to display a live website; this can be anything from a live URL feed provided by a third party to your social media profile. The Android network media player also allows you to run your own software should you already have a CMS solution.

Custom Layouts

This feature allows you to design your own layout with different media zones for your images, video, webpage, time, date and also allows you to add a scrolling message or RSS feeds. You can even give your layout a corporate “skin” to go around your media zones. If you do not have the resources in house to design your own layout we can do it for you or put you in contact with a 3rd party designer. My Signage Portal is an easy to use cloud based CMS for updating and managing your digital signage network. With a vast selection of professional templates you can quickly and easily setup and deploy content to your screens. You can setup multi-zone layouts with custom backgrounds, images, widgets, audio and transitions.  Content can be synchronised across multiple displays, include live TV feeds or embed live webpages such as social media account, menus, product collections and more.
